We’re thrilled to announce a new addition to our team at TEK Northeast. Qi Yao, an experienced professional with a rich background in mechanical engineering, has joined us as an Inside Sales Engineer based in our Randolph, MA facility.

Qi is a proud alumnus of Wentworth Institute of Technology where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. His journey then led him to Rexa, a respected TEK customer specializing in process control solutions. At Rexa, Qi spent 15 fruitful years honing his skills in various technical roles, eventually rising to the position of Inside Sales Manager.

Not only does Qi bring broad industry knowledge and expertise to our team, but he also brings a deep understanding of our customer’s perspective, having been one himself. This unique blend of experience will undoubtedly contribute to enhancing our service offerings.

Outside of his professional life, Qi lives in Randolph, MA, with his wife and their three cats. He’s also a passionate car enthusiast, and we are warned we may find him showing up to work in a variety of vehicles.

Qi will officially begin his journey at TEK Northeast on Wednesday, July 5, 2023. Please join us in extending a warm welcome to Qi as he embarks on this exciting new chapter of his career at TEK.
