It is our pleasure to introduce a new member of TEK Northeast, Jim Cairns. Jim joins TEK Northeast on June 20, 2022, as Business Unit Manager Instrumentation at our Randolph, MA service center reporting directly to the General Manager.

Jim joins TEK after six years at Mettler Toledo Process Analytics as Head of Product Marketing. He graduated from Bradford College with a degree in business and has worked most of his career in fortune 500 companies. Jim brings over two decades of experience in both the industrial and biotech industries.

In Jim’s new role as Business Unit Manager Instrumentation, he will be responsible for supporting all facets of instrumentation sales including oversight of daily business activity, and business development while overseeing outside instrumentation sales in all territories. He will also lead the effort to identify target areas, industries, and value-add services for growth opportunities to ensure positive and additional revenue streams.

In his free time, Jim, his wife, and four children enjoy camping around New England in the summer and he plays in his home 3D printer lab in the winter. Jim also plays volleyball competitively and is also an avid home brewer.
