We are excited to welcome Sam Chaffee back into her role as an outside sales representative of TEK serving industries in the Carolinas. She will continue to utilize her strong and valuable interpersonal communication skills. She worked with us as an inside salesperson for over two years, during which time she developed an appreciation for and an understanding of the mechanics required to master the customer order fulfillment process.
Sam understands the industry and enjoys the challenge of making the sale. Her intimate knowledge of the inside processes along with the wealth of product knowledge she has acquired will benefit her tremendously as she resumes that outside sales role. I am pleased that she has decided to come back; and, I look forward to the positive changes that will happen to our organization as a result of it.

I was born and raised in Tennessee, and like a typical southern girl, I grew up with an admiration for the outdoors. I loved being surrounded by lakes, mountains, and the subtleties of nature. My husband and I are parents to two young children. These days, my hobbies consist of watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Sesame Street and also playing with Legos.
From 2015-2018, I was a member of the TEK Insides Sales Team located in Knoxville, Tennessee, and the point of contact for our North and South Carolina customers. During this time, I developed a strong, working relationship with our Carolinas customers. I had an opportunity through TEK to transition into Outside Sales and establish a local presence in the Carolina area. Well, my husband and I made the decision to leave Tennessee and make our way to South Carolina. Now, we call The Greater Columbia Area our home.
Following our move, we welcomed a little girl, and I made the decision to take an extended maternity leave. But I am pleased to say I am back servicing our Carolina customers. I am very excited to have this opportunity and the position of Outside Sales. Now, I can finally meet the loyal customers I have served over the past couple of years. I can have face-to-face interactions, offering more personalized experiences, to better serve my current and future customers.
